I was pleasantly surprised by Brunei. Certainly it's not the place to go if you're looking for wild nightlife, but the people were universally friendly and welcoming, more than any other place I've visited. There's also an amazing amount of rainforest still intact, and you won't have to worry about too many tour groups coming through either . Can't say it's a must see destination, but can make for a pleasant couple of days.
