I found the Island of Bali to be the worst place to go regarding Touts, beggars and overly aggressive hawkers. When ever I would go past the gates of my hotel I would be overwhelmed by very aggressive types who would not take no for an answer. Even worse than India or Egypt. Though not as physically aggressive but desperate to sell me an overpriced worn post card.
