I do not risk travel outside of the immediate vicinity of Ikeja (Airport area) in Lagos without a driver and/or security escort. Usually this is provided for me by the business associates I am meeting, but I also have a trusted firm (which is used by most airlines) that provides these services for $125/day in case I need to head off into Victoria Island or Ikoyi solo.
