While the enlightement from this board is great - in case I am ever doing those 250+ nights everybody else seems to be doing - I would like to ask a more question, a more "leisure oriented" - although this is a business trip for me.

It is regarding the so called complimentary shuttles.

Both the LA CP Casino Commerce and the HI San Diego National City offer these.

The latter for example:
"Complimentary Area Shuttle within 5.0 MI radius of the hotel." or "from Amtrack Station" or "Train Station Distance 1 MI / 1.61 KM W
Complimentary Train Station Shuttle"

Ì would not call 1,6 KM " and are walking distance to the Trolley Station" which is why I am looking into those shuttles. To which degree can I rely on those and is there a knowlegde between the readers here what they will cost?

I would have to take into account the taxi / shuttle costs, because I am all towns in conferences and need to be in special places at special times.

If I did not need to care about the cost, I would just have taken the Manchester Hyatt those days ;o)
