sushibear - I also tried out the coach seats on the 757 at the DO. Its interior is fine, but definitely has not been refurbished. That plane has just received new exterior paint, but that seems to be it.
Anyways, I've flown the 757 across the Pond in coach. It was fine on one leg when I had all 3 seats. Even slept for a few hours.
So, I tried the bulkhead, Row 8. Don't find too much extra legroom, but the seats are very narrow. Not worth it.
The seats to have are definitely Row 16. Extra legroom, full recline. Really, those are the only seats I'd have on this plane.
[I flew back from Europe in the last row, Row 34. Reduced recline, and very narrow seats. Don't get them unless absolutely necessary. I got them because that's the only way I can get an open middle seat.]
In short, I find the info on Seatguru.com 100% correct, as far as 752 coach seats are concerned.

Reason: Mistakenly wrote Row 14 originally. Best seat is in Row 16.
