Well, there's a couple of ways of looking at it:
1) You're having great fun with your friends on a trip that may create memories that will last a lifetime. 7 hours in a cramped airplane is, in the grand scheme of things, meaningless. And since most people don't get worked up about airplanes as much as people in FlyerTalk, most (if not all) of your buddies won't care a bit.
2) CO's 767 is a far better airplane to cross the Atlantic than their 757--the twin aisle configuration, plentiful aisle seats, and superior inflight entertainment make it a much more comfortable choice.
