Yes, I know i've never flown in them. And no, my friend did not pay any fees. I just found it shocking that, knowing nothing more than my name, he could change my flight.

As for the 757...I just wanted to know if it is too unbearable? There has been talk of starting to improve the 757 with new seats and AVOD systems. Has that gotten underway or has that been shelved? I wont be flying on the 757 until June 10th...so there may be a chance that I get a retrofitted plane by then if, indeed, they have started retrofitting Y with new seats.
