I'm on a FLL-DFW flight (S80 equipment) with no seat assignment and a connection I need to make.
aa.com seat map indeed shows zero seats.
I'm on the upgrade list...F shows 7 seats but I know that is not necessarily the real situation.
So was wondering how and when oversold situations are dealt with...is there a "standard"?
If there are no shows, you get a seat, they ask for volunteers if truely oversold or they bump.
