I wanted to bring this thread back up for more comments.

I booked 1A as my seat map shows that as the only exit row seat. HRGM hints that it is comfortable.

Sounds like this this is significantly better than the CRJ (the worst RJ on the planet) and slightly better than the ERJ (more comfortable than the CRJ imho).

BTW: Does DL Connection/ACJET use a specific gate at JFK? How is the "experience" compared to the godawful gate experience at ASA in Atlanta??
