I completed four legs on FRJs in the past couple of weeks (BOS-RDUx2, RDU-BOSx2).
Some notes:
The words "Atlantic Coast Jet" or "ACJet" were mentioned a total of two times among four flights. The rest of the time it was just "Delta Connection".
Row 1 is the best seat. Not only does it have good legroom, but you get to wear these cool shoulder harnesses!
Seats were leather.
Legroom in general is better than Delta Express. I haven't been on a Comair CRJ recently enough to compare the CRJ legroom to FRJ legroom.
There was hot towel service. I've never had that before not in first class.
The flight attendant did a drinks service (from a cart) offering snack mix, and then a little later came by with more different snack options. All drinnks and snacks were just as mainline Delta (Coke, Summer Harvest, Biscoff).
Four legs, three went off early, one went off late. The late flight was due to inbound equipment going technical upon arrival at BOS. That plane went out of service and they took equipment from another flight and put it on our run instead.
The FRJ does not cruise very high. We never got above 26000. I keep having to remind myself that this really is just a prop with turbofans.
All in all, four very good flights. I'd fly ACJet, er, Delta Connection again. A good thing, too, since I live in Boston and have family in North Carolina.
