To check in to all your Southwest (WN) flights you can use board-a.com to get an 'A' boarding pass for free. Register yourself with WN's Rapid Rewards and remember all your numbers.

When you clear immigration at LAX and get your bags, you can either walk to T1 or take a bus. I'd suggest walking if you have your bags on a cart. If not, then take bus A (?) which serves all terminals.

When you get to T1, go up to the checkin level. Don't stand in the main line. Go up to the check-in kiosks at the front. Use your Rapid Rewards or confirmation number to retreive your reservation. Reprint your boarding pass (which should be A, because you used board-a.com, right?) Also, select 'check baggage'. You can check up to 3 bags per person. Sizing restrictions, etc can be found on WN's site.

Print all your Boarding Passes and check in all your luggage. The agent behind the counter will put the printed tags on the bags.

Go through security and find your plane.

And read the FAQ

With regard to ticket prices, download DING! and you may be able to find cheaper fares than what you have bought. You can always cancel and rebook your fare at a lower price at no charge. You'll get flight credit for future use.

If you miss your flight, WN will usually put you on the next avaliable flight as long as it leaves within three hours and as long as they have space. Be nice to the GA
