Um, not trying to be a pest here but... what part of "40 minors" or "large group" did you miss? 40 people in cabs will cost a fortune.
Other than that I think the advice is good. However, the cab ride is $50 one way + ti. I'd rather go for a one day car rental and go for a drive, if it was just me.
