I'm a card carrying Hilton Diamond member. I'm at a Hilton family hotel at least 80 nights a year. I've always had at worst a pleasant experience at every Hilton hotel I've stayed at except for two:

The Toronto Airport Hilton is probably the worst Hilton I've ever been to. I don't get it at all, but the place is a wreck, and I'd assume sleep in the MLL before going back there. Serivce = horrid. Rooms = poor. The bar is ok, which is probably a good thing, considering you need to get drunk to survive the night there.

(OT: The worst hotel I've ever stayed at in my life is the San Francisco Hilton. That place should be burned down.)
