Why do you not use your STc miles to book a ticket to GIG with LX ?
Is it because that way your ticket would cost 165K STC miles and you would prefer to pay the lower LH M&M rate at 120K miles as the transfer rate on April 1 is going to 1 2 1.
Are you really serious to expect LH to offer you such a rebate ? They are not a charity.
I agree with other responses that LH for once is correct in their ways. You have taken the flight by the time the transfer would occur - what is there gurantee. This is not against you personally - by all means you are going to uphold the transfer - but looking back at past years overdraft discussions - I guess LH is not willing to take any chances - or why else was the overdraft facility reduced - and a cost for miles installed.
