Third that. The clubs are subpar, tho not totally dismal. I liked the DL CRC the best, and the AS Boardroom attendants are some of the friendliest I've ever encountered. The RCC is reasonably sized as far as RCCs go -- I've never seen it completely packed -- and it has a superb view of the north runway, Marine Drive and the Washington State side of the Columbia River. It's quite bright and airy; no dungeon-like atmosphere like at SFO. Haven't been to the NW lounge yet.
I'd rather grab a seat at Tullys (coffee bar) before security or at the AeroMocha after the CP on the D/E side, or better yet at the sushi bar in the Rose City Cafe or at one of the many spots for microbrew either landside or airside. PDX is quite comfortable in any of these spots, far more so than the clubs, IMO. The E concourse in particular has adequate seating across from the immediate boarding areas, and the lavs throughout the airport are very clean and large.
To say nothing of the free wi-fi throughout. ^
