UA first started LAX - MEL non stop in December 1999. I was on the inaugural flight

As of this morning ... 11.30am in Melbourne, N127UA is parked in the holding bays and is still damaged. Not much action around it and wing tip is still damaged. Unable to get any photos as location is quite inaccessible.

I believe that UA is bringing in a wing tip and have sent SFO based MX staff to inspect.
I am led to believe that they landed this morning in Melbourne and were on the SFO - SYD flight last night.
