As far as my answer goes: Comparing Blackberry to the Treo is like comparing apples and oranges (or berries). Both devices have their strong points.

If you need something that'll excel in email and web access then the Blackberry is simply the only solution to consider, if you need additional applications and/or multimedia then consider a Treo. No games, camera, zinging ringtones or mp3 on a Blackberry.

Blackberry is more rugged, and in my opinion more reliable. Even the most up to date Treo needs a reboot every now and then, in my years with a Blackberry I have never ever had to reboot to fix a locked up device.

Then of course the keyboard; while Palm has managed to copy some of the main features of the RIM keyboard the Blackberry is still the clear winner here.
