I have just returned from the Marriott. It is next to the U.S. consulate and security is very tight. The room was passable, recently renovated and on the Executive floor. The service, considering where I was was very attentive. It was hilarious trying to get a drink. Pakistani whiskey (only) served only in your room. I had to show my passport and sign a form saying I was a foreign visitor, non-Muslim. Food was terrible.
