Im curious as to whether the op was charged taxes for his stay. If he was, then perhaps the remedy is to claim back those tax amounts if the op does not wish to pursue the star points issue,

Most of us here are aware of the no starpoints/stay credit after 30 days but i did read somewhere that for such stays, taxes should not be charged. It makes sense as charging taxes would change the story.

But i suspect that william MIGHT BUT NOT necessarily be able to come in and offer a dispute resolution which is between william and the op. It has happened before.
