Several passengers has missed their flights as they have been stuck in long queues and become frustrated.
BA is aware of this and BAA are also aware, but please can i make the passengers aware that its a UK government requirement that BAA follows this and BA as tenants of BAA and under instruction by the UK government are not responsible for the security at Airports.
I hope this helps!
I have always found LHR and other EU airports a haven of sensibility when it comes to not taking laptops out of bags. Then as I flew out of LHR on Jan 12 I encountered this and the long queues.
Does anyone know the logic behind this change? How does a laptop out of a bag provide better security?
