I just called (with no wait at all BTW) and the CSR told me that they were working on the upgrades and haven't gotten to mine yet. I told her I thought a computer program did the upgrades, not a manual process, and she just kept saying they haven't gotten to mine yet.... Customer Service looked at my record and everything looked okay.

I looked at my record now (about 10 minutes after the call) and the upgrade is confirmed but w/o a seat assignment. All this for a 35 minute flight.
At least I know that Journey Control isn't in play here, that was my main concern since I rarely get the upgrade in/out of MLB.
