what a fiasco closely resembling juniper coustomer service that i have experienced today where staff refuse to transfer you and refuse to give you any identifying information instead placing you on hold in the hope you will give up with yr enquiry . some upgrade from B of A !
Although I didn't get a ticket, I had none of the problems you experienced. Got right through at noon, but got the "It's not too late, keep trying" screen. I did that every 20 seconds until 12:03 when I got the "Too many connections" message.
All in all, this seemed better set up than, say, trying to get Springsteen tickets on Ticketmaster, when it goes from "Your wait time is approximately 30 seconds" to "Your wait time is approximately 19 minutes."

But let's face it, with only 50 tickets to give away, if you don't get through in the first :30 seconds, you're not likely to get a fifty-cent ticket, unless someone's request is rejected for some reason and they throw that single ticket back in the system.
