The last few days on the news it has been mentioned...and an article in todays Salt Lake City Tribune mentions that there in becoming readily available tickets and rooms from the 'Travel Brokers' who evidently bought up large blocks of rooms and tickets when they went on sale prior to 9-11..thinking they would reap a windfall profit. Now as mentioned in the article many of them are bailing on these packages at or below their cost. Evidently many are now concerned about containing and minimizing losses rather than making a profit. The Olympic cauldron arrived yesterday..downtown SLC and most of the venues are a buzz with construction crews trying to complete the finishing touches to get ready.
