I just completed my second stay in 3 months at the Grand Hyatt (Metro Ctr.) in Washington DC. My second stay has reinforced my belief that this property is one of the jewels in the Hyatt crown. Not only are the amenities on par with those at any Park Hyatt but they also have one leg up on any other Hyatt property….Their extremely accommodating and knowledgeable concierge, Barbera Gregory. Throughout both our stays in DC, Barbera has been both informative and thorough. While these characteristics are to be expected, her recommendations have never failed to perfectly match our expectations….This is indeed a rare quality. If you have the pleasure of staying at this property, rest assured that any recommendations she may have for you are golden. If you find yourself in the DC area and are teetering on weather or not to stay at this property, don’t hesitate. The property is very well equipped, centrally located, and has the human capital to make any stay, business or pleasure, highly enjoyable.
