the point is
it is much easier to archive HHDiamond than SPG Platinum in my eyes.

I will hit triple diamond end of this month...

i made a lot of hilton stays this year, but 25 stays are too much. I spent normally between 150 and 700USD on a SPG room per night.

The high spending is not really honored...
i did sent 500K amex points to SPG .... award stays are not counting toward tier reservation, but they are earning them money...

if award stays did count , i would qualify for SPG Platinum easily.... but without having the option of the spent money i will be in trouble to qualify .

in 2006 i will request a status match if my status drops...

but as i talked to someone at amex, at least german customers will get some new benefits with the new portofolio of the CC card in germany.
