Well, for what it's worth, this guy -- i.e., the real Michael Chertoff! -- is a vast improvement over the clown who went before him, Thomas Ridge. That guy was a piece of work. I saw him in an ORD security line not too long after he resigned. I was tempted to ask him how he likes being a "common person," but he was too far away for us to converse easily.
