So, yes, by experience, it's a VERY tight connection. I'm assuming you're on flight 400 leaving YYZ. Try getting on 480 which leaves at 6:30am... 30 minutes will definitely make a difference. A 5 to 10 minute delay on AC400 will be enough to bust your connection (I've seen cnx busted with a 3 minute delay...).
And btw, I checked the loads on YYZ-RSW... doesn't look that great. So other options for you to get to Florida would be AC920 to TPA at 1520, and 2 FLL flights which look pretty decent. Good luck!

Thanks for the info . . . but I believe I'm looking at change fees (times 4) to move my family from AC400 to AC480 (on Feb 11)?
What's AC's obligation if the connection busts at YUL? Back to YYZ for 934 in any seat, or only in the same fare class? Put on another carrier via another connection? Does status make any difference?
It booked as a legal connection, after all.
