I have a reservation for next week that I made while I was silver, i'm now gold, do i need to call and have my Skymiles # removed and readded so that my boarding pass says gold?

Just want to make sure my boarding pass says gold so i can go through the fast lane. I dont have my gold membership card yet from Delta.

Also am i safe to assume that others traveling in my party (booked online at the same time as me) will be able to go through the medallion line with me?
