They have definitely started painting HP planes. I flew PHX-LAS this weekend and saw at least three different HP planes with the new livery between the two cities.

I know I'm in the minority with this opinion, but I still like the current US livery better -- I think it's more distinguished and generally classier. I know the dark colors make it impractical in the desert but the new US look is pretty underwhelming in my view. It's a definite improvement over the silly, juvenile HP livery, but it doesn't make you take notice.
