To have airline status with Centurion would be nice to have, but nothing special really, as I think most Centurions have plenty of airline status anyway, due to their travel / spending habits.
Only in your wildest dreams would LH hand out HON status to anyone. Quite the contrary, they are making it harder to obtain HON by taking out UA miles.
With ragrds to the "brilliant" new Priority Club Platinum status: They sent me this card in October with a validity "2005". Now in 2006, I do not have a new card. I didn't even bother to call them ...
