I called BA Barbados (wasn't he in the a-team??) and they confirmed that there is a lounge for CW pax in the main terminal 'Carribean Club' which is temp until the construction is finished, so it sounds like there is a dedicated lounge in the works.
Anyway, min check in is only 1.5 hours so we may just leave it to then and minimise our airport time.
Personally I quite like it here, much nicer than Berkshire at this time of year
although some of the restaurants are similarly priced....
