The more I have to deal with the EU in OECD countries, the less I like it; and these "security initiatives" are no exception.

The primary concerns about the laptops was either that they could conceal explosives and/or parts of them were dense enough to obstruct other objects from being seen. Guess what?!?!? Even a bunch of coins collected in a pouch can obstruct things easily. So will the EU now mandate that we spill our coins from our bag too?
