I used to buy the keyed-alike 4-packs until the TSA cut off 2 of them. I hate having multiple keys when travelling so wound up purchasing (2) of the 8-pack keyed-alike Brinks crummy little brass locks @ Walmart - went through all the packages to select two packs that seemed to have the same key (you have to flex the plastic pack a bit so one key drops down so you can see it). Gave the orphan locks to friends who don't fly very much.

4 locks for all my stuff, 4 for the girlfriend and the other 8 as replacements so as the TSA cuts off my "TSA Approved" locks I won't get quite as upset. Hope to go a few years before having to go through this exercise again.

So far, 32 bags checked in....one lock MIA w/ TSA inspection note in luggage but no cut off remains.
