Your dollar goes incredibly far in Turkey, or at least it did back in 2001. Hungary and Slovakia let you get twice what your dollar gets you in the US. Some great bargains can be had in Brazil, though it helps to get off the tourist trail to find them. Egypt was also amazing, with your buck buying five or six times what it would in the states. I also found Greece to be the cheapest of the Euro-zone countries, though it's not the bargain Argentina is.
