Am I the only one irked at such changes? I hope not. I just looked and found that ALL 7 flights a day between PHX and SLC have been 'downgraded' to CRJ service, 507 miles, about 1 hr 20 min. Since most of my travel will take me to SLC, I have always enjoyed a nice flight up, sometimes FC. Now? Cramped and blah! The only competition is AWA and WN, all fly bigger metal. Every DL flight I have been on PHX/SLC has been packed. DL has now reduced their passenger load max PHX/SLC to 350 people. WN has 7 flights a day for 700+ folks. AWA has 5 flights for about 500. Now, the serious question. What on earth would be DL's rationale behind this, besides ticking me off and making me switch to another carrier? I just don't get it. I guess I shouldn't complain too much. We did get a nice new CRC in PHX.</font>
I'm surprised Delta has done this; however, I can't agree that the CRJ is cramped and blah. Yes, I am lucky enough that I have sat up front 90% of the time this year but, the few times I have been put in coach - give me a CRJ any day!!!
