No, just scaremongering if I'm honest. A zoom camera lens can play very strange tricks on the eye at that distance and angle.

The prox warning systems would likely have triggered in each a/c long before and the ATC radars would surely have picked this up and alerted the controllers.

Edited to add: Having just looked at the piccy enlarged it seems the JAL is a 777 and the DHL is a A300. But if you look at the relative sizes the A300 seems smaller in an out-of-proportion way

It would appear the DHL one has both considerable vertical and horizontal separation from the JAL - way more than the piccy suggests.
