Baggage allowance

Can someone help with my question! When travelling on a ticket covering various airlines/weight systems, the maximum weight applies (i.e. regardless of your routing, if you travel via the US, you can take 2 pieces). I am travelling on an international ticket in First Cass. For this, my baggage allowance is 40KG. As I am *Gold, I am entitled to an extra 20KG giving me a total allowance of 60KG (at least when travelling on *alliance flights). I have purchased a separate ticket for a return domestic flight - in economy as it is a one class service - (1 sector on a *Alliance carrier and the return sector on another carrier - both sectors on 1 ticket). Now I know that the *alliance carrier won't question my baggage allowance for my domestic flight but what allowance will I be entitled to for the other carrier (their allowance is 15kg). Can I say that as I'm travelling on an international ticket, this weight applies? Or is this not the case as it is not ticketed on my international ticket?

I want to shop!
