I had decided not to return to this HI hotel several months ago but then gave it another chance when it "upgraded" to CP-- my mistake.

Not only is it in the throes of construction but it is managed as poorly as before.

Last year I reserved 2 or 3 rooms for friends and called the front desk ahead and they said all was clear, but when friends arrived the front desk stalled them for over an hour, doubting their credibility (I had left names when reserving).

This time I called to make sure it wouldn't happen again and they assured me, but, astonishingly, they actually accessed my online reservation and changed the room/rate. I complained to PC and they rectified it.
