BA has actually become more transparent with the pricing, when booking on their website you used to be given the price per segment, then at the end the taxes and sucharges would be wacked on it. I once booked a flight between SOU-EDI-SOU on BA, the fare was 2GBP each way and the taxes 60GBP!

Now the "segment price" includes taxes and surcharges.

Well BA now have that too It is only 2GBP per booking but it is just another surcharge / tax etc

BD also charge 4GBP for credit card use but they waive this if you use the bmi diamond club Mastercard ^
