Is joining DC worth it for lounge access on ONE trip?
I really know nothing about DC... I don't know many people that have it. I use AMEX and MC (for miles).
I was reading a trip report and someone mentioned using their DC for lounge access during their South Africa trip. So a @:-) went on 
I have never used lounges and do not have any airline status that will grant access. But on our upcoming trip....it would probably be a really good thing to have... We are traveling to Amsterdam and South Africa.
So, would it be worth it join to get access for this one trip? Does lounge access come with all cards or only certain premium cards?
I tried a search of "lounge + JNB" and didn't find much. If there is a thread dealing with this topic, please let me know.
