They make a Y-splitter for the cigarette lighter plug. A $20 investment might be wise if the person next to you wants to use the outlet as well.
AA says that you can't use a Y-splitter. I'm not sure if there isn't actually enough juice coming from a single outlet or what. But just the heads up.

Back in the exit rows of Y, I've yet to encounter someone else with a DC adapter in use.
