I had this same debate at the Delta security check-point in San Diego on November 4. I carry with me several copies of the FAA press release of 10/8, which says that tweezers (in my case) are permitted. It did me no good at all. In fact, the Delta person (not even Argenbright) accused me of fabricating the press release! So I could smuggle tweezers; yeah, right.

These people are simply idiots, and so are we for putting up with this nonsense. How much longer before all the airlines go bankrupt?
