To me, Birks look sloppy. If you are going to be in major cities, I would suggest buying a good pair of shoes that are super comfortable but look cleaner. European people don't wear birks and it screams that you are a tourist.


PS: Do you mind sharing your general age and I'll go hunting for shoes in the style that I am trying to describe?
