She called UA to make arrangements to fly LH to FRA (for the bed seats in Business), and UA stated that LH will not accept the UA FF mileage! UPGRADES.. well, using miles to upgrades across *A was introduced just last year ( visit their website, news ). UA is not integrated into that yet, last I looked. And I've been monitoring.
If you go to the awards page.. you'll notice there's upgrades for UA metal... but if you go to the *A or partner charts... there's no upgrades/miles shown?
In fact, I think only 4 of the members are supporting *A upgrade awards... Lufthansa is one of them.. but not UA.
