Getting tax refunds on unused tickets?

I know that if you cancel a non refundable ticket with BA you can claim the taxes back minus £25. Does anybody know if this can be done for flights never taken?

The reason I ask is that I just found receipts for 12 flights that I never took and didn’t cancel this year alone. All those taxes add up nicely. I also have 6 on BMI that I never took.
