We love St. Thomas. We've been there on cruises as well as stayed there, and while I wouldn't recommend our hotel, even if you stayed there, I don't think you could go wrong with the island. Other options in the Virgin Islands that we love are Virgin Gorda and St. John, both of which you can visit using St. Thomas as a base.
