The hole I want to plug has been used before to devastating effect. Hardened cockpit doors and observant passengers have plugged the "blades hole". The national government could discharge one of its enumerated constitutional duties and secure our borders. As to the "constitutional argument", by which I presume you mean the 4th Amendment, I have a suspicion that the patriots who fought for our independence would agree with me. But what would they know about those quaint concepts such as freedom, liberty, rights...
