KL's A330's are brand new. They took delivery of their first one in 2005 I believe (maybe late 2004).

It's a pity, too. I think NW and KL both made mistakes altering their fleet this much by putting Airbus into the mix. Now NW is back to Boeing with the 787 order...KL may follow. KL also bought the 777 though.
