I've got a trip that starts with a UA code share flight (on US) and then the remaining legs that day are UA mainline. I knew EZ Checkin online wouldn't do the code share (although that can be done on the US website), but I had hoped it would be smart enough to issue the remaining UA segments when they were less than 24 hours out. But, nooooo. Apparently if you can't issue segment 1, it won't issue segments 2 and up, even within the 24 hour window. Anyone else have experience and/or workaround with this one? I'm guessing the airport machine won't work either, both at my origin city and also the connecting point.
