Refund of Excess Luggage Fee for Lost Luggage
NWA (or actually KLM) lost a bag of mine on an international flight originating in the US (and coded NWA). I have gotten NW to pay for the value of the contents of the lost bag after several weeks.
I also paid $145 as excess luggage for the bag in question. Luggage Services is saying I have to take it up with Customer Care if I want the $145 back because they can only pay for the bag and its contents.
Anyone ever had this situation?
